Q: My hectic lifestyle and fast-food diet is wreaking havoc on my skin. Where do I start to improve the health of my skin?
A: “In the practice of ayurveda, the fastest way to improve the condition of your skin is to cleanse your body of accumulated toxins (also known as ama). Then, eat a more balanced diet based on your unique body constitution (dosha),” says Petaling-Jaya based ayurvedic therapist, Yong Lee Yan. “If you have skin that’s irritated, this is most probably an external indicator of your internal health.
