You’ve probably got a bra for almost every occasion—that strapless dress, plunging neckline or backless number. But what about your workouts? "When I train, my preferred attire is ALWAYS inclusive of a sports bra," says Elizabeth Haig, a Kuala Lumpur-based fitness trainer, adding that a regular bra just doesn’t give breasts the support they need during high-impact activities. Says Lydia Claire Lim, a chartered physiotherapist at Prince Court Medical Centre: "It is very important to wear a sports bra when exercising. Its main function is to support and encapsulate the breasts during exercise to reduce their motion." Read on to find out why.
